Where has The Tavern's Substack Been?

A Failure to Re-Launch

So, in February of this year, I talked about relaunching The Tavern’s Substack. What the hell happened? I got derailed, quite simply, with family health issues. It seems that being retired doesn’t mean having the free time you think you have.

Most of those issues have been resolved, and the lingering ones are minor and seem to be managed as well as can be asked.

Of course, I’m in a different place (mentally and creatively) than I was back in February, so I’m considering a slightly new direction for The Tavern’s Substack.

It will still include links to the channels I regularly enjoy and links to the various live streams I participate in (more news on that in a later update - 2025 will be an exciting year).

The Taverns Substack's main focus will be discussing and showing the development of Baldes & Arcana’s core rules, optional rules, setting material, and other related material. Tuesday will be the day for the newsletter, and I hope to have something ready by Nov 26th. If not, no later than Dec 3 and weekly after that.
